Is There Any Proof
That This Helps People?
The Canadian Federal Government/British
Columbia Provincial Government Study
An Employment Program using the Unified Employment
Theory® Model was found to be 3-times as effective
as the standard job search programs in outcomes of employment,
work experience, active job search and attending or
accepted to school.
The Federal and Provincial government jointly commissioned
a study to evaluate a new approach to employment for
income assistance recipients. A controlled group of
95 clients where placed in the standard job search programs
which were funded by the Provincial Government of which
forty clients were placed in an employment program using
the Unified Employment Theory Model, called the Implicit
Career Search Program. Clients averaged 27 months on
income assistance. The program using the UET™
achieved the following results as compared to the control
group:

It is obvious from the study that clients in the program
using the UET model were 3 times more likely to be involved
in productive job search activities compared to the
standard job search programs.
The two program facilitators who achieved these outstanding
results were certified to use the UET and were the most
experienced Unified Employment Theorists™ in the
province at the time of the study. The 77.5% was achieved
using a model of 5 classroom days followed by one on
one support using the UET as the framework for the follow
up support.
The Implicit Career Search program is just one example
of an excellent employment program that benefits from
using the Unified Employment Theory Model and certified
theorists.
